Elk family (with a huge stag) came down to the beach to eat.

I joined a bike ride that went over five (5) bridges in Portland and this happened.
THE CONDUCTOR WAVED AT US.
#mbtpubroll would have gone apeshit @wvistheduck
I spend a lot of time on Alaska 737s in and out of Portland so that's fun 😬😬
Ya gotta admit tho, it sure looked like a great view outta that door-hole
I've desecrated some of his good work. The bars got swapped for classy townie bars from Velo Orange; the tires for big semi slicks (no skidding, I promise). The beautiful curved VO stem will likely be switched for a longer stem to accommodate the bars' sweep. The suspension fork may go.
But the coaster brake. The coaster brake stays. A revelation in chilled-out urban riding, a pub bike essential IMO.
This thing is so much fun. Thank you Colin!
