@jgownder and this summer South Korea ordered lots of doses of a new vaccine that doesn't need deep freeze. I'm trying to find the source. whether it works better than the current vaccines I don't know. but it can reach more of the world. let me see if I can find the reference.

@jgownder this is so bad. My father remembers his mother spent months in the sanitarium for TB. Covid is our generations' TB and our current vaccines are not effective enough to stop this. Hopefully the next generation of vaccines helps. Crossing my fingers.
@molly0xfff whether they _should_ be investing in speculative products is a different and important question.
@molly0xfff I suspect the loss will be close to a rounding error. They are a behemoth and have investments in just about everything.
