Oh god one more essential shout out! Taro Modelmaker (https://www.taromodelmaker.com/) - I bought a plinth at Salute, then messed up painting it. He kindly made one up for me and shipped it at incredibly short notice, and even brought a spare one to fest in case it didn't arrive! Hero.
For one specific shout out, @Sixdiceskills took loads of time to have a conversation with me about the event and Golden Demon despite him being about to leave the venue, and me interrupting him, and really made me feel engaged and listened to!
Of course also shout out to all of the staff members from GW who tried to ensure that visitors were having a great time. Especially those on the Golden Demon stand - they were making such an effort to make painters feel good about the entries they were entering and collecting.
Can't really tag everyone that had a positive impact on me at Warhammer Fest this weekend, there's too many! Shout out to my 4 great Underworlds opponents (Jurgen, Shane, Mike and Michael), all the cool Rollmodelers I hung out with, and every random person that made conversation!
My Two Thin Coats wave 1 has been dispatched! Excited to try a project using only these paints, to see what they can do (I've enjoyed the few I tried before pledging). Perhaps an Underworlds band or something would be a good self-contained project.
Absolutely made up to be coming away from Golden Demon at #WarhammerFest with a finalist pin! It's been a goal of mine for a huge time, and I'm so proud to get through the cut in such a competitive field. Good luck to the painters competing for the trophies! #WarhammerCommunity
