@LoadingReadyRun the prominent "GOOD NEWS" made me hear this toot in Molly Lewis voice.
I have been able to suceed in my career as a female game developer due to my exceptional ability. All the other female developers I've worked with have also been exceptional. It's not that women are better devs, it's that mediocre female devs are brutally ejected. Nearly any man believes that there exist exceptional women who are very capable. What's more unusual is a man willing to tolerate a mediocre woman with the compassion he extends to a mediocre man
@JessTheUnstill I mean, if you consider that it's the player taking over an entity in a game world, isn't *every* game an isekai of sorts?
@KDHofAvalon @alice @Diamondy30901 @desertbus I'm sorry to say it wouldn't be that spectacular. Due to the way Desert Bus for Hope increases the cost of every hour Elon Musks net worth (I'm assuming $852 billion) would keep DBfH running for ... 15 days and 7 hours (give or take). If you donated the GDP of USA ($30 trillion) that would make them go for... 17 days and 12 hours. Geometric growth is no joke. (any errors are on me - I'm human and might have messed up the math)

You are being misled about renewable energy technology.

@dosnostalgic interesting, googling this revealed that in Europe it was released as 4D Sports Driving, but I distinctly remember that all the copies I've played (and were no doubt obtained by legal means *cough* *cough*) had Stunts branding. Sidenote: the opening/main menu theme is now stuck in my head.
A new release of SuperSight, a mod that increases draw distance in Stunts (1990), is here:

@asie Most books by John Scalzi would work, I guess? These are fairly light reads with varying amount of science and/or fiction. Like "Kaiju Preservation Society" (Towarzystwo Ochrony Kaiju) or "Starter Villain" (Początkujący Złoczyńca). As for autobiographical-ish works I can recommend "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!" (Pan raczy żartować, panie Feynman!) - a collection of anecdotes about Richard Feynman.
@catsalad Ooh, is *this* how one should listen to power pop?
