The t-shirt samples of my t-shirt with every major console from 9 generations are coming today and I'm so excited but nervous π if I'm happy with them I'll share a link to the shop πthere's a risk I've gone into tooo much detail and they don't turn out. Fingers crossed.
Today's game is Need for Speed II (1997) on #PS1.
The game that introduced me to the NFS series on PC, I picked this up recently to relive some old memories playing this with friends.
It's a good looking game for its time with nice scenery, decent cars and solid gameplay. You can even tune the cars too.
The PS version is great too, they announced #SegaSaturn and #N64 versions too but these were sadly never released.
I bit of quick and easy handheld gaming on the move today. Love how this fits in my pocket and the battery life is π
Now if only I was any good at it!
I've finished the design work for the t-shirt I'm going to be releasing for charity this year! It's been hard work designing 30 consoles across 9 generations, but I'm really happy with it. I've ordered 2 tests to check I'm happy with the quality before I share π Here's a preview below.
Looks like I forgot introduce myself! #introductions
I'm Colin, I'm from #Glasgow in Scotland and I'm a retro gaming collector. I love anything nerdy, #retrogaming #computing #development as well as a love for grunge, punk and metal music.
90% I post about games in my collection, 10% everything else. My collection is formed only with games I played in my childhood that I'm rebuilding, or games I wanted to play then but couldn't.
This account will be politics free - it's my gaming safe space π
Here's a photo of my current game room setups, retro and modern. Pretty happy how the retro room is turning out, it's my little den when I want to chill out π
Today's game is Micro Machines (1991) on #MegaDrive
A game that really inspired the top down racers we have today, this game is an absolute gem.
I remember sinking so many hours with mates playing this, not always racing but just exploring the tracks together.
The single player is still great fun today, I'm determined as I was then to progress as far as possible - but I've never made it to the end!
