Okay. So, problem I am seeing is everything is just referred to “go talk to your admins” because they’re in charge/owners. There’s a lot of servers a million plus people have flocked to, and barely can operate. Or just block/report everything yourself, when they show up, which is very time consuming. I also don’t see age limits for kids, which came to mind when I found child porn servers harassing my account.

Subidax@renissance1 Yep. And people scrambling to find a place when the popular ones are full or down temporarily while adjusting server capacity going to smaller/less moderated servers that have been ok because everyone knows what they're doing now filling with people who don't.
Larry Anderson 🕊️@renissance1 The way it works is that the admin of the offender's instance gets a report, and so does yours. If it's a bad instance or a single-user instance where the admin is the offender, they're going to ignore it, obviously, but your admin can block the domain. So it's useful.

Okay, I have adjusted some stuff and I breathed a bit. Yeah, people on Twitter are not exposed to 4/8Chan type stuff. Extremism researchers selected what they felt could be shared safely. Here—-it’s not like that. I am just warning people it’s a bit more like Reddit and Chans where you can get contacted easily here, or stumble upon very extreme shit. Each server is different, I heard it, same with admins. We know they’re swamped and doing their best. Heard it.
2/ What is a concern is that a lot of people aren’t tech savvy, and are still trying to understand the app, and even the concept of it. A million plus people have navigated here—that’s a lot of exposure to extreme content, and harassment ppl aren’t used to. It’s dangerous, and I suspect on purpose with Elon’s BS moves. Just be careful, contact your admins, block servers.
