I’ve been appointed as a mod 3 times now. [https://ani.social/pictrs/image/d1f58cad-d16c-42f7-97ee-0b97cf62a602.webp] The action shows up in the modlog straight away, but it always takes a couple of hours until it actually works. Then, serveral hours later it seems to just reverse itself. I suspect it has to do with ongoing federation issues on the side of lemmus.org [http://lemmus.org]. All post from lemmy.world are delayed by about 12 hours on that instance. Maybe the delayed federation somehow messes with the mod appointments?
Apperently this comment about HDD market shares trigged my ban. I still don’t know why, but it’s progress!

I really have no idea why I was banned from those two communities specifically. I don’t think I’ve interacted with any of them (apart from reading/voting) for weeks. It’s not an instance ban. If there is a better place to post this, please tell me.
