Currently my favorite @ivory feature: when you add an account to a list, you can choose to filter that account from your regular timeline. So if you collect all news sites/feeds (which tend to be spammy) to a News list, you can use that list much like a RSS feed to catch up on current affairs and not be bothered by the posts while browsing your timeline for interesting conversations.
