Since it is in fact going to snow and “wintry mix” nonstop, we are going to be closed today.

We need your help.

We're still $5k away from hitting our fundraising target for this year.

Make a tax-deductible donation now at https://redemmas.fund

Help us clear the shelves before we have to inventory all these books.

20% off all in-stock books until the end of the year, in the store or online at https://redemmas.org/books (use the code BOOKSROCK at checkout)

This past year, we've already hosted *340* free events, workshops, and public discussions. Sure, we're an incredible worker cooperative bookstore and restaurant, but we're also a platform for writers, readers, radical education, community organizing, and more — and making that happen sustainably takes a little help from you.

We're kicking off our year end fundraising drive today — if you care about radical space and have a few bucks to spare, donate today at https://redemmas.fund

The book, notably, includes the complete script of “Friendship’s Death,” a 1987 film starring Tilda Swinton as an alien robot sent to Earth on a mission of interstellar peace, and who eventually takes up arms with the PLO during the events of Black September in Jordan, explaining that “I have every reason to identify with the Palestinians.”
