Parting Ways – A Post Punk Mix

It's time for this months post-punk mix which, as ever, covers various genres under that banner. I realised recently that I do not feature many female fronted post-punk bands aside from the likes of Ductape, Ash Code and Echoberyl. I am not sure why that is but I hope efforts from the likes of Hemwick Witch, Incirrina and Komfort help to remedy that.

A Bit of The Other #4

Another mix that moves away from self imposed genre constraints covering ambient, dreampop, ethereal techno and various bleeps and other noises. One act I have been enjoying of late is La Cantinombra Lento who is an Italian artist who delivers ambient re-imagining of post-punk albums. Recently he has worked on New Order and The Cure whilst the latest album featured here is a rework of XTC's Black Sea.
