pop boots to busybox, but no keyboard response

i have auto updates on and yesterday, pop shop told me to restart. in hindsight it was a bit weird, i just had another restart to update a few days ago, and i think the restart message on the window was in orange, but this last time it was black. since this restart, the system goes to busybox, and while tje keyboard ligjts up, it doesn’t react to any input, not evem caps lock switching with a live usb, i checked the efi and the root partition, via disks, both seems to check out i also have a mint install on the same ssd, and that works just fine also windows on a different ssd, i haven’t tried it i have tried the guide on system76’s page, to repair the bootloader, didn’t seem to have any effect what could be causing this and how can fix this?
