(Note: I changed the name of a certain website to “Twotter” because of a current issue between Substack and the unnamed company, which means some links didn’t embed. Hopefully that will be fixed very soon.) You’ve probably encountered the person I’m about to describe. Gen X to Millennial guy that works in ‘tech’. Started his career in a burgeoning industry with pretty consistent growth across the board broken up by periods of explosive growth, depending on the company. He had pretty socially progressive views, the most conservative he would get was when he’d send you a two paragraph meme with a picture of Ron Paul somewhere on it. His job had a lot of forward momentum as the internet started to be integrated even more into everyday life. The person I just described no longer exists. What we have now are what I call Siliconservatives.

RT @[email protected]: This tweet does the rounds every time there is a shooting and I fucking hate it so much. I hate the faux truth telling cynicism. And I hate it because it's inaccurate.
Yeah, Charlie’s right: this is a ludicrous claim by Yuval Noah Harari. https://twitter.com/cwarzel/status/1639367983154835460?s=20
"absolutely vague and bananas thing to claim in the nyt (the election thing) without really even attempting to explain what might even need to happen for this to come true” https://nytimes.com/2023/03/24/opinion/yuval-harari-ai-chatgpt.html

I never said Jews should be eradicated from public life. I said *Judaism* should be eradicated from public life.
I may be a buffoonish bigot who stirs rubes to violence, but my cowardice demands a smidgeon of plausible deniability. And you, sir, have libeled me by omitting it.
