@minute looks neat!
@ktemkin problem is that if they are that sold to AI, they most likely are full relying on AI to develop the "features for everyone else", which almost inevitably results on lower quality software.
@mjg59 years of reputation thrown away on a single thread: a masterclass
@stib @mntmn the real fun is building (and sometimes designing) the modules yourself. If you are "just" a musician/sound designer who just cares about the sound, there are plenty of better options than vcv rack
@mntmn I'm not currently running Linux desktop, but the stack is pretty much the same since then: https://rafaelmartins.com/uses/#audiovideo-1
Things I use

A comprehensive, yet not exhaustive, inventory of the tools and resources I regularly utilize.

@stib @mntmn eurorack without hardware is having fun without the fun. Unbearable, imho
@chergert the so-called redhat culture makes yet another victim. I wish you all the best
@trcwm (as long as the order do not crosses the 150 eur limit, which is mostly guaranteed for hobby projects)
@trcwm sometimes I have no choice, like when I use PCBA for some SMD parts. europacket is for bare pcbs only. but I have to say that the price difference is not as big as before, since when they implemented VAT IOSS, because there's no 15-20 eur surcharge for customs clearance
@trcwm europacket is really bad these days, but even when you order via DHL and Fedex directly, JLCPCB invoices are **always** wrong in my experience, so delays are expected if anyone decides to review it. of course the huge europacket shipments are probably always reviewed...
