After the party-based blobber, this is the true solo one I intend to finish.

I also had to turn down the graphics quality from "Fantastic" to "Fastest". Probably the fucking lousy circumstances from this morning rubbed off on this lousy laptop I'm gaming on 😜

Anyway, nice little game.

Soon in the near future though, I think I'll try a true solo blobber. We'll see...

Had a fucking lousy morning, but having a better night: just finished Heroes of the Monkey Tavern.

It is a short and sweet party-based blobber. My minor complaint is just that the map has to be toggled on and off with the Tab key. I would have liked it to be permanent on screen.

Right off the bat, let me say that this game has an excellent music.

Just finished Cold War.

Again, I didn't really like the timed missions. But I suppose they were not so bad.

Other than that minor complaint, this is a surprisingly solid third-person stealth game.

This marks the 10th game I have finished so far this year on Ubuntu 24.04 either via vanilla Wine or Lutris, or with native Linux versions.

Who needs Windoze? Not me 😎

No matter how you look at it, broken system is broken, rigged system is rigged.

Just continued playing Cold War.

"So sorry, Comrades..."

UPDATED: Video games done playing so far this year:
- Flare: Empyrean Campaign
- Dex
- Ancient Enemy
- Spaceland
- Undetected
- The Thing: Remastered
- The Chameleon
- Clive Barker's Undying
- Nosferatu: The Wrath of Malachi

Currently playing:
- Cold War

Probably about 1/3 through the game, Cold War https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_War_(video_game)

Pretty challenging so far. Even before that I had to battle the installation and setup with the original 2 CDs and Lutris in Ubuntu 24.04. Frequent crashes, but at least playable.

Wish it were on GOG, though. The Linux version, that is.
