Vanished Posts and comments - Lemmy.world

I wanted to comment again on an older post in c/ergomechkeyboards, but was unable to find it by using the search function. Then I tried finding it the hardw way, by scrolling through all posts on that channel. The post is visible on lemmy.ml [http://lemmy.ml] and listed as coming from lemmy.world https://lemmy.ml/post/1513992 [https://lemmy.ml/post/1513992]). Since I could’nt find it that way either, I tried looking up my older comments in the thread to find it that way. Then I noticed that Lemmy only shows my last 5 or 6 comments (of 29) and that the selected sort order does not affect what is displayed. SoI basically want to report three bugs: 1. Posts that are no longer visible. 2. Comments are not shown on my own profile page. 3. Sort order of comments my own profile page does not work.

Humans on Mars seems to be a pure fantasy fueld by old SF. Technically it seems to be easier (and more viable) to build floating cities on Venus than for humans to live (on the surface of) Mars
George Carlin, is that you?
That happens when you try to create a group from people who’s only common characteristic is that they do not do something. Shocking, I know, but some non-smokers are heavy drinkers!
Yes, OP was asking about chocs.
Where does the expectation come from that the public has a right to know the identity of a person accused of something or even the identity of an alleged victim of a crime?
Accusations like that have been proven to be wrong in the past and the life of accused people has been ruined by their identity becoming public knowledge. The same has happened to victims who not only have had to live with the results of the crime, but also with the public stigma.
I just bought a Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro. Thank you all for your advise.
I do not have a better variant to offer but another quote that I like better. It is the Epitaph from the gravestone of Nikos Kazantzakis (author of “Alexis Sorbas”) and it reads (translated from Greek): “I hope for nothing. I fear nothing. I am free.”
And another thing: All of the keyboards that were recommended to you here use QMK (or KMK or ZMK) firmwares and thus are equally configurable.
You’re welcome. Full disclosure: I did have some troubles with the keyboard, as one of the USB-ports was wonky, but I was an early adopter and they sent me a replacement left half. They are a little hard to reach at times, and seem to concentrate on selling custom keycaps now, but aside from building a keyboard yourself, I doubt you will get one as cheaply as that.
