Yesterday, when I was paying for my lunch on my way to a queer stage play, two women walked up behind me, bickering about which would pay their bill. One of them gestured to me and said "this lady was in line ahead of us, let her go first."
They didn't actually let me go first, but I didn't mind.

Happy TDoV, y'all. Not gonna lie, I'm more scared this time than I've ever been. Things are tough out there for trans folks. I'm fortunate to be in Canada, but I'm scared for a lot of my friends in the US, and I know that even Canada isn't necessarily going to be safe forever.
But we've got each other. No matter what, we take care of one another, right? We can fight for our rights and we can win. And we can look damn good doing it, too. 
Got my hair dyed again. This time I didn't chicken out on the color and went for maximum bright red.
