I Really hope this isn't topical anymore, but this is still history. Sometimes it feels like people only study a few days at a time whenever it comes into the news & just say the same words as if lawmakers were athletes on a football field or something. IDK which sport because I think it's more like We're given the run around

To clarify, this is why we can't look to lawmakers to protect us against gun violence. We need community defense. We need to protect each other.
