I don't live in California, but if you do, please vote YES for prop 50! It will counter the republican's illegal jerrymandering in Texas. It is vital to our country if we want to remain a democracy.

I'm a disabled guy in the Pacific Northwest of the US. I'm sick of all the rightwing BS, and we need universal healthcare in our country!

I was just looking over the voting results in Washington State, and I know a lot of our most populated areas tend to go blue. I'm really glad for that, but I want to thank every blue voter in the red areas as well. You help keep us blue in the state wide elections. It might feel like your vote doesn't count, but it does in the bigger picture. I appreciate all of you!

Since there seems to be so many Trump supporters in particular groups of people, I'd be interested to see MMA fans for Kamala, pro-wrestling fans for Kamala, NASCAR fans for Kamala etc. I'm sure there are some out there. What are some other groups (that aren't supposed to be hate groups) that seem to heavily support Trump (I'm glad evangelicals for Harris have spoken up)? I'm mostly curious if people in these groups are still all in for Trump or if people are waking up to the harm he would do.
Should Sean O'Brien, president of the Teamsters Union, be a speaker at the DNC? He said a lot of things at the RNC that flies in the face of the Republican party, but it looked like a lot of the general crowd agreed with him about workers rights and the strength of unions even if they don't understand that their Republican leaders will only work against their best interests. If the Democrats cut him out, couldn't they be hurting their message of union support and a strong middle class?
And I'll make an educated assumption that most of them vote or would vote Republican. They would vote for the people who cut spending for healthcare needed by disabled and elderly people. They would vote to end the ACA even though people would be denied coverage for preexisting conditions. My only hope for these hateful people is that they get a glimpse of what it's like to be disabled, that they experience humility some day, and that they will realize the harm they do ultimately harms them too.
It's a shame that so many cruel people are among us, and that they are further emboldened by their virtual anonymity. These people who attack disabled people with hurtful words and actions never seem to realize that they could become disabled at any point in their lives in many different ways. I was just a child when I became a quadriplegic, and one of the most famous quads, Christopher Reeve, was 42.
