Go-to-Market Strategy Consulting

Entrepreneurial addiction is a real problem.
I’ve spent time with many struggling with substance use disorders, who behave no differently towards their drug of choice than entrepreneurs act towards their ventures.
A self-absorbed mindset where any criticism is met with aggression and dismissiveness until no one who is honest is left.

You feel I'm not your friend because I don't support you. What you view as support is enabling. Your drug of choice is an air castle you've built up. You view anything or anyone who doesn't tell you how beautiful, and real your castle will soon be as attacking you.
As an organization grows, coping mechanisms suddenly become less effective, up to the point of unfeasible.
A founder can go from being able to do the jobs of every employee, to those of any employee.
Eventually the founder must have employees with skillsets they are not qualified to evaluate.

Push ROI stopped working with startups because they were responsible for about 10% of our revenue and 90% of contract breaches, nonpaid invoices, and various assorted bullshit.
Twitter is not a startup, but as I've said before, it's doing the startup bullshit.

At one time, Valleywag part of Gawker served as a tattletale hall monitor for the startup community. But since Peter Thiel sued the publication out of existence, the startup world has run amok without media coverage until hundreds of millions of dollars are involved. That’s a problem for the entire ecosystem.
Google started with the goal of indexing the internet to make finding things online easy. They succeeded in solving that problem. Now Google has changed the way we consume, create, and used the internet. Humans no longer drive Google search.

In the late 90's to early 2000's very few people could get a website up and online. A lot of web developers popped up and they charged a lot for building websites. As a friend once put it, he was tripping over $10,000 checks to cash $20,000 checks. It was a boom.

Certainly, some creators have used shorts very effectively to grow audiences.
Many podcasters and longer-form creators have syndicated portions of podcasts, finding tons of additional views and presumably at least some growth of awareness.
