I'm so tired of people complaining about the name CubHub. ​

• No, I cannot change the name of CubHub without literally deleting everything and starting over. Stop asking. It'd break all of the federation.
• No, I wouldn't change the name even if I could. I'm sick of ceding ground to puriteens who want to claim more and more ABDL language for their anti-babyfur crusade. A CubHub is a babyfur room party. Get over it.
• Using the name CubHub as an excuse not to join Mastodon is silly. We have https://babyfurs.social and https://abdl.link which are fantastic sites with great communities and very professional administrations (unlike meeee). Join them if you don't want to join a place called CubHub. Both sites can communicate with CubHub just as well as being a member here.

Seriously. I'm so burnt out on this conversation coming up every couple of weeks. ​ The beautiful thing about Mastodon and the Fediverse is that you can join any other server you want or even spin up your own. If you don't want to be on CubHub, you don't have to. Go to the Fediverse server that suits your needs best.

Bottom line, if the name "CubHub" is your excuse for sticking around on websites that literally hate you, well, that's just a really awful excuse. ​
