Kokopelli trail, let’s go!
Yesterdays storm was not nearly the snowfall it was expected to be, but still pretty great spring conditions at the Jane.
Not to brag or anything but we stayed there *before* Kendall Roy thought the room was too small.
Wild weather this year for the usual Moab MTB trip, but phenomenal bike rides. 15ºF lows, wind gusts that just won't quit, but pretty nice during the day with views that make it all worth it. I'll be cleaning sand out of, ahem, everywhere for a long time
Hard to beat 8” of fresh pow for Eldora closing weekend. Sun came out in the afternoon ☀️⛷️
Bikepack shake-out with the new rig a success. Really tough ride out/up to White Ranch against the winds, but survived. The “no water” thing up there is no joke; without snow patches to melt I would have bailed.
Return ride this morning heading downhill following the wind was magic ✨🚵♂️
The whole time I’m testing out my new/first backcountry ski setup, I’m thinking whoever mounted these bindings sure had a lot of perfume on. Turns out Pomoca puts a “smell the Swiss alps” packet in their skin boxes 😂 It does smell amazing tbh
So very cold but Jackson does not disappoint! With more than 4k’ of vert from one tram ride the descent stats come easy. Bottom was as cold as the top today.
I love these occasional sunny warm winter days on the Front Range but the trails will be a total mess. Maybe the roads will melt enough for a ride tomorrow
Here we go! 42° ➡️ 7° in 15 minutes📉
