Excited to share our new preprint bit.ly/402EYEb with (on twitter: @mtoneva1), @ptoncompmemlab, and @manojneuro, in which we ask if GPT-3 (a large language model) can segment narratives into meaningful events similarly to humans. We use an unconventional approach:
I have been slow to move over, but here goes my first post (toot?) on Mastodon: I'm very excited that our paper on continuous memory scanning is now out in PsychScience (https://doi.org/10.1177/09567976221128206). With @ptoncompmemlab and @HassonLab (on Twitter) we show how people use event structure to search through continuous memories (link to original thread: https://twitter.com/s_michelmann/status/1421712081695379456)
