@caseyliss @marcoarment @siracusa Have y'all seen the new Veritasium? Of course you have. Let me rephrase, I can't wait to hear the next ATP discussion about it.

Hey @TimHarford, big fan of your work. My son loves the Truth Detective, and we listen to Cautionary Tales together.
One thing bothered me in your recent episode "The Thrill and the Drop". You kept referring to the ride operators as "engineers".
Professional engineers (in the US not sure about the UK) have to pass a rigorous test after earning a BS in an Engineering field in college.
Were these ride operators professional engineers?
@marcoarment Hey, first congrats on finishing the rewrite. As a fellow developer, I know that was a Herculean chore.
One bug I noticed in the new app is that after I’ve finished playing the last current episode of a podcast that is pinned to the top, the podcast used to disappear from the current view, but now it sticks around in that view. It’s annoying when I tap into a podcast thinking they dropped a new episode only to find it empty.
Hey @joliss, thanks for all your great work in the open-source community! I'm trying to get a security issue patched in jquery-ui-rails. Looks like you were one of two people who are owners of the gem at rubygems.org. Could you publish the latest version so that we can continue to use the gem? Thanks! Paul

I wonder how DHH would feel if someone took one of their products, which I assume make some money with some people, and "essentially" recreated them...?
Even better – for free!
"True artists steal" as they say, right?
