Call my passwords Sir Mix-a-Lot, because they're long, and they're strong, and they're down to get encryption on.
Heard a therapist say: “People who need therapy don’t come to us, their victims do” and that took my head off.

Sometimes I wonder if I actually enjoy my work or if I've just settled as I got older into a place of "yeah, this is fine."

Getting hit with the nostalgia for the late 00s to early 10s and remembering the dreams I used to have for myself. Pair that with the nice weather and it's almost a perfect storm for a midlife crisis. xD

Morning ramblings:

It's wild to me to live in a time where I'm surrounded by incredibly smart and talented individuals, many of whom are in the tech space, but having a conversation about "how do we fight back to protect data privacy and make it harder for those that would do us harm to track us" feels like it might get me black bagged. Meanwhile we have folks out here being praised for advocating the mass murder of anyone different from them.

I've always longed for that hacker culture where it legit doesn't matter where you came from, your political stance, the color of your skin, the language you speak, or the invisible force you pray to, the only thing you were judged on is your great or shitty personality. A world where your absolute best friend, that ride-or-die person you would do anything for, you don't even know their real name, because it doesn't matter.

The mechanic removed the back plate and inhaled through pursed lips. "Who did this?"

"I did," the robot said.

"How?"

"I took one arm off, put in a wireless interface so I could still use it, and put it in a vice, then turned-"

"OK. Why?"

"I needed fixing."

"You are allowed to ask for help."

I can't be the only one that feels like we're approaching the whole age verification backwards, right? Like, what if parents had to use parental controls to keep their kids safe... the way parents do... like the VChip or whatever. Shit has had parental controls for ages and suddenly now we think the only solution is to put the controls on everything by default and only by handing over all of your personal info can you get it shut off? This feels like Idiocracy.
The dystopian cyberpunk hellscape we are entering into better produce a super active underground tech movement, or it's all for nothing.
The Rankin & Bass Jack Frost will forever live in my head as "the little brrr-maid"
