@Algot I figure, once we can print more than just PLA + ABS easily...and move into home DIY Metal printing, that will be a game-changer

At that point, a person like you could be competitive against traditional machine shops for custom parts possibly...who knows.

@Algot Additive Manufacturing is more efficient than CNC machining which is a cutting-away process, leaving lots of useless ''chips'' of metal from cutting away...rather than a process which would just use exactly the amount of metal material necessary.
@Algot Nice work. OpenSCAD is sexy. I used it for a while back before for 3d printing. Later I ended up using Rhino 3d mostly though.
