“I have always tried to live in an ivory Tower, but a tide of shit is beating at its wall, threatening to undermine it.” —Gustave Flaubert

I consider myself the tide of shit.

@fbievan have you setup a CI solution for it as well? I was wondering if I can hit two stones with one bird :D
Do you guys have any favorite self-hosting single user git solutions?
@dmoonfire @solusspider why not use tusky with akkomma?
The Fediverse is the only social media platform where people who voluntarily host it actively try to avoid using it.
@rl_dane i basically learned programming through that track.
@amin look! Based on my past experiences with starting a community I can confidently say that I'm bad at handling other peoples conflicts and I might end up creating a cult. So, I don't think I am qualified to run, host, create, make, maintain, manage or moderate any communities.
@sotolf oh, really?! Calling JK Rowling TERF is being kind to her IMHO. Do you still have some screenshots or something of that interaction?
@sotolf why did he disagree with you?
@amin Hey Amin. I'm working on a toy client for phanpy. Is it alright if I use this instance for my tests?

I'm entertaining the idea of migrating from Fosstodon to here.
However, the local feed of Fosstodon is amazing for discovery.

Other than that, I do not like Mastodon's inefficiencies. And I find myself disagreeing with Kev more and more.

I also use genserver.social, and I like the server, Paul and the community. But I like to keep there focused on #elixir.

What would you do?
