This is me, deep in performance mode with Primitive Calculators a few years back. Being on stage making noises was a radical change to my perspective. I became more comfortable with mistakes, glitches, and the unexpected weirdnesses of being in that strange and liminal moment of audience meeting performer.

Being a technical artist requires problem solving and some lateral thinking - inside this marvellous polar bear head, I tucked a wireless mic so that our performer could be heard, which also gave the polar bear a wonderful deep voice. Korg devices are a big part of the sounds that I make, and once they started tinkering with their legacy back with the MS-20 rerelease, their capacity to innovate on their design and sonic language has expanded. I love this. I want this. Give me a job so I can buy one and make weird noises for you.
