Another tech giant laying off thousands just because everyone else is. Despite record-breaking profits. Again. Expect the C-level executives of IBM and SAP to get raises and bonuses for their "hard work" as well.
Is this how we want to work? Do we always want to be in fear of random layoffs, with no rationality, no reason? Do corporate boards want to reward people who are only smart enough to make broad worker-cuts because it's fashionable?
Do consumers want to continue to patronize these same corporations?
