Software engineer. Leaning toward the liberal side politically. Big fan of science and people who love what they do and want to talk about it whether they are doing science stuff or not. I like absurd humor and seeing people succeed. Also cabin cruiser boats and cars, although I have neither. I hate ELON MUSK and believe he is a total fraud. Never-Trumper. Don't even talk to me if you're pro Trump.

If you look at her platform on her website she did not have much else. In every area Kamala's campaign cited "Project 2025" but in terms of - and this is literally on the website - "It will cost Americans $3900 extra per year".
I deeply hate Trump but what was being said about him being Hitler and stuff like that boiled down to - on Kamala's own platform - that it would cost American's an extra $3900 a year.
Kamala did NOT have a platform at all, much less a viable platform.
I clearly wanted Kamala to win but her platform was garbage, the democrats get outplayed all of the time and "Save Abortion" is not a platform. In the liberal bubble in which I exist many where saying Kamala would win by a landslide and then Trump would incite violence.
In truth Kamala was a deeply unpopular candidate that never at any point had a chance. Her plans were to save abortion and then... give out handouts to minority small business owners - as opposed to ALL small business owners.
I am as anti-Trump as could be possible, but the political hay being made when he said he wanted generals like Hitler had... the best German Generals of all time were not NAZIs. Rommel - to my knowledge was never a Nazi and treated the captured people of France well.
I don't support Nazism or Trump (Neo-Nazism) but in documentaries I've seen about Rommel he was an incredible military general and not a NAZI.
