Just a few days left to catch Tales of the Tall Ships at the Maritime Museum, on until 29 Mar. Paintings, ship models and photography tracing Aberdeen's long connection to sail.

Curated by Madeline Nehring, it's a thoughtful look at a city shaped by the sea.

This Friday at Krak, The Tempilstiks headline a four-band night that covers rock, reggae, metal and punk without much regard for boundaries.

They started as four mates jamming with beers. Three bands in support make this a night not to miss.

This is an important one. A unity march takes place in Aberdeen on 18 Apr, opposing racism, the far-right and Islamophobia as part of a Scotland-wide series ahead of the Holyrood election.

Bring your neighbours. Show up, be counted and stand up for the kind of Scotland we want to live in.

Just Beth has a house and disco night coming up at D2, with Abbey WH and Subside on the lineup.

Two names well familiar to anyone who's been out in Aberdeen recently. One to put in the diary.
