Es ist zugegeben ziemlich ruhig bei uns geworden, aber polychat lebt noch!

Am Wochenende sind wir auch auf der FOSSDEM in BrĂŒssel. Komm doch mal vorbei, wir sind auf dem Matrix Fringe Event am Freitag vertreten (https://foss.events/2025/01-31-matrix-fringe-event.html) und sonst meist am Matrix Stand zu finden.

Hier sieht man mal wieder sehr plakativ das Problem von zentralen Diensten.

Irgendwelche Nutzer machen Zeugs was illegal ist, der Anbieter kann oder will nicht reagieren und der Service wird fĂŒr alle gesperrt. Mit einem dezentralen und föderierenden Dienst wie Matrix hĂ€tte man die entsprechenden Homeserveranbieter blocken können aber nicht gleich alle Spanier.

Ich bin gespannt wo hin die spanischen Nutzer jetzt ausweichen. Hat jemand eine Ahnung?
