Do you have any life hacks to develop interest or learn ? - Lemmy.World

For example I want to learn more history or math. But as soon as I start reading or watching video, I start feeling sleepy. Rather than thinking “Oh may be I was not really interested in them” I’m curious to know your approaches to learning. If there is a better way to learn new stuff and keep at it.

The small little nub at the end of a peanut is tastier than the peanut itself. I believed it and kept eating it while giving the rest to them. I got scammed.
Not everyone wants read receipt notifications for everything. It is much easier if it is manual just like message reactions. So reaction is the best solution here. But as the user stated, its execution is not the best.

On websites or apps, how often do you tap on something that you didn't intend to ?

This happens to me a lot these days - search for something, website/app lists some stuff one of which I’m interested in. But as soon as I move my finger to tap on it, the website/app loads something else and move what I wanted to tap up or down. I unintentionally click another result and get annoyed I have to do the whole thing all over again.

H2O

I immediately reject any theories that pretend to “know” what they are talking about. I mean WTF are they talking about here ? We have limited senses to sense this world and limited communication capabilities, that was built on top of our fear of death and suddenly these theories trying to claim they “know it all” and this is the “judgment”. WTF. Get off your high horse.

Nobody knows anything. We ALL are just dumb. World is too big to know.

with its own unique laws of physics

I never thought of it like that. I thought laws of physics as laws of evening. Nice thought. Thanks for response.

I believe you

Ah that’s interesting. I didn’t think of them as separate universes.

My point still holds though. I mean, we call 3D as 3D because of 1D and 2D. Since they don’t exist in our reality (but of course they are mathematically useful). One could still argue that since it cannot be perceived, it’s not real.

May be this is some form of nihilistic thought too 🙂

Well it’s a public forum, one specifically for thought experiment that too. I’m not trying to claim anything. I’d be happy to be proved wrong too.

Your response is basically “I don’t have an answer for you but sushh”. I don’t have anything else for you pal, may be try to approach things a little open minded and less condescending.
