What has become increasingly obvious about the #January6thCommittee , is that any action that doesn't put Trump in a cell will do way more damage than January 6th 2021 did.

It comes down to 3 things:
Whether members the DOJ decide they're being instructed instead of mery suggested.
Whether the backlash in either direction is considered worth enduring.
And whether the precedent of putting a former president and a rich person in jail for tgings they did can be stomached by the ruling class.
