Jacinda Arden has retired , and I’m happy to accept her explanation that she gave everything she had and decided it was a time to walk away. If we could only embrace the liberating grace of just walking away (for those of course who can afford it). And at 42 she presents a bracing alternative to American politics increasingly hijacked by a gerontocracy. But perhaps this says a lot about cultural difference . #jacindaardern
