Is it time we retire the term DevOps for just Ops again?

I keep seeing people "handing off work to the DevOps team". That not how this works. That's not how any of this works.

War sucks. It really hampers my ability to get together with my team at work and spend some quality time together.

And, you know, the droves of avoidable human suffering, displacement, and death. But team get-togethers is clearly the larger issue. /s

Life is short. Use the fancy soaps or bath bombs you've been saving for a "special occasion". Drink the good bottle of wine. Burn the decorative candles. That special occasion is today. You made it through everything life has thrown at you and you're still here, god damn it. That's a good reason to celebrate.

I love how my team uses FAFO as a legit term for "technical discovery". Paints a much more honest picture of what's actually going on.
