My Jinhao 82 in "Milk Tea" color arrived today! Here it is next to my Sailor Pro Gear Slim Mini in Zyne Pink. The Sailor is a tad pinker. So pretty! I blame the Hobonichi Pens subgroup chat for this purchase. Some of them collect these blush fountain pen colors in different brands. #FountainPen #FountainPens

Onie of ON Inks asked me yesterday if I had already tried the ON Inks Pinky Swear I bought from him. I hadn't, but then I thought I'd swatch my entire pink ink collection to see what it's similar to. Pardon the cloudy daytime unedited photos, they're the best I can take given this weather. (But will try again later when there's a sunny day.) ON Inks Pinky Swear is most similar to Pilot Iroshizuku Hana-ikada, only cooler (more blue) and a tad bit more saturated.

Here's one of the remarkable fountain pens I saw yesterday afternoon at the 15th anniversary pen meet. It's a Kasama Una anodized titanium pen, and this one was a reject witheld from sale, because at the time the makers were still practicing with their anodization process. It's a Philippine fountain pen brand. Still, I was amazed at how interesting and beautiful it looked. #FountainPen #FountainPens #Philippines

I won a small item in the 15th anniversary pen meet raffle. After I unwrapped it I found it was a 10x loupe! I have two other loupes in my fountain pen repair and maintenance kit, but a backup is always nice! #FountainPen #FountainPens

Preparing my fountain pens to bring to the July 15 pen meets. There's a pen meet in the afternoon, and the other at dinner. I found my Kolhabi 7-slot padded penvelope, which is made from native Ilocano Inabel fabric and tried to fit several pens inside that. Right now it has 5 Sailor Pro Gear Slim Minis, a TWSBI Eco, a Majohn A1, 3 Kasama Una pens, and 4 Jinhao 82s. Plus a plastic bag of Robert Oster swatch cards.
