Caroline and Richie went to see "Dune - Part 2" and in this episode we discuss our impressions. Seems like we liked Part 1 better, although we believe this part is worth seeing as well. Here is a link to the conversation between Steven Colbert and Neil DeGrass Tyson, re: physics of Dune.As always you can write us at [email protected] and let us know what you think.

It’s crazy that, of the two leading US presidential candidates, the guy found liable for rape who is facing 91 criminal indictments after he incited an insurrection *isn’t* the one who is facing vocal calls to step aside for someone else to run. People have lost their minds.
History in Reverse - Father and daughter science fiction podcast - History in Reverse Sci-Fi Podcast Ep. 24: "Andromeda Strain" | RSS.com

In this episode we discuss the book and the movie "Andromeda Strain", This book was the first novel that Micheal Crichton published under his own name, and it was made into a movie in the early 1970s. This was the first time Caroline saw this movie and she liked it. Both the book and the movie were very suspenseful and quite exciting at times, even when the plot was predictable. The movie shows how scientist deal with researching a new pathogen, which we thought was bit relevant to the pandemic we have just been through.
