Glad to see you back! Yea accessing this community from another instance would give a different view/posts.

Lol fair enough. I was just trying to understand why KTL’s scene barely did anything to me (even when it was pretty hot leading up to it), while I blushed so hard at the 19th Life’s scene. I probably just prefer it when the FL participated more in the kiss.

Ha, true! Accessibility is important. I’m contemplating whether or not to watch Bloodhound. Have you seen it? Heard the bromance is pretty good there

Hello! I was hoping we could move over to lemmy.ml’s kdrama community to combine our users. But it looks like we’re all still quite comfortable over here somehow lol.

I’m watching both too, but enjoying 19th Life a bit more. I do think KTL feels easier to watch, and loved seeing the prince’s character and those other drama references lol.

What kind of dramas do you normally watch?

For some reason, I didn’t think that was a big deal until I saw it being mentioned everywhere hahah.

Ok so I want to analyse the two kisses we got last week from the two dramas. Weird I know 😅, but I’m keen to hear your thoughts on this!

Even though KTL’s kiss was hotter because of Junho, I found Yoona’s body language during it a little off putting. Like she was too perfectly posed with her tummy tucked in and her arms strategically placed on him, it just looked a little unnatural. I kept getting the sense like she was holding back still, not sure because of the script/direction or she’s just not very good at kiss scenes.

On the other hand, 19th Life’s kiss had SHS leaned her whole body into ABH, drawing him in, and looked as if she was really into it. Like what Junho did with Yoona. ABH’s response was also a little lukewarm somehow, but it could be he was indeed still holding back because his feeling for her was still a little unsure. If only they could switch partners, then we’ll get explosive (but possibly censored) kiss lol!

What do you think of this?

We know now who Hanna was, but from the flashbacks Min Gi looks to be someone from her past as well.

My guess, he was someone who was in love with her but she was in love with the past Seoha as well. Then she died, maybe related to Seoha, and Min Gi somehow had/has the power to keep them both reincarnated and remembering their pasts in the hope that they rekindle their relationship in the next live. But Jowon/Ji Eun kept going back to Seoha. I don’t know how Seoha’s mum got to do with this though.

You’ve read the webtoon. Has the story in the drama changed much from the webtoon?

Hahah to be fair, I also thought the makeup/styling could’ve gone better for her in this drama. She was beautiful in the other dramas I’ve seen of her.

Yea I thought this was the 16 episodes drama and King The Land was 12 for the first couple weeks, then realised it’s the opposite. The reaction I’ve seen so far has been that this drama started off strong but it stagnated soon after. On the other hand, KTL keeps a good pacing and has good star power. I still like this drama better than KTL, but can understand why people loves KTL more.

I wish I have your wisdom before I started both. They are both about hotel chaebols and have some sort of mystery involving their mothers. I forget which chaebol has what specific trauma/incident sometimes. But yea maybe that’s just me lol

I KNOW RIGHT!!! Shin Hye Sun never disappoints, including her kisses!! I’m still remembering the ones in Mr Queen. Ah~~

I can’t wait to see Driver Ha and Chowon’s kisses next! His gaze for her has been so intense that I feel I should look away sometimes. If that’s an indication how their kisses will be like, then oof… I will need a cold shower!

Eps 7 and 8 are really one revelation after another! Can’t believe we’re more than halfway there already, and that this drama will end next week! Sobs

Oh you’re right! I didn’t realise he only called up to her.

Before I watched the latest 2 eps, I thought Hanna (the singer/dancer) was also another shaman. Like there was a group of them roaming about to warn/catch those reincarnated people to keep them in line or something. But yea, that was way off! Lol

Although commonly known as a baby kangaroo, a joey is basically a baby marsupial. So that can include koala, opossum, wombat, etc.
