(This was the quiet version)

I have been isolating myself from LM as best we can in the small apartment. I haven’t slept in our bed since testing positive and I have had no snuggles. LM also grabbed an air purifier with UV protection, which has been blasting constantly. I made myself a bed on the floor because the couch was too uncomfortable!

It’s annoying, but day 6 and he is still symptom free and testing negative. Hooray!

Following this exchange, I informed them that I had asked repeatedly for them to stop giving me advice and blocked them. So, of course, they sent this lovely sub-toot about how I just can’t read what they said.

I’ll be extremely clear here: when someone asks you to stop giving you unsolicited advice, you stop.

I told them I already knew what they were talking about. I told them “I know you’re trying to be helpful but your advice isn’t helping”. I told them “stop trying to give advice that is useless to me since I know what your trying to explain and I only use Amazon when I have to”.

Seriously. Just. Stop!

Hey, don’t be this person.
This exchange happened after I ranted about Amazon being shut and losing my order. This person kept trying to explain drop-shipping to me and tell me why I needed to buy from eBay rather than Amazon.

This particular message was sent after
1. I had explained multiple times that I only by from Amazon when there’s no other option
2. I had said I know about eBay, I don’t need it explained
3. I had said their advice was not helpful in this situation
4. I had asked *multiple times* for them to stop giving me advice

So now, because I just wanted to rant for two sentences and be done with it, I should go to a different social media platform. My “I use Amazon when I have to but still hate it” is against the ethos of the fediverse.

This kind of sanctimonious, self-righteous bullshit is why people turn away from mastodon and go to places more “fun” like blue sky and threads. It helps no one and just leaves you feeling smug because you got to prove how much better you are than others.

Here’s the curb cut, by the way. Behind that arch. I count four cars on the lane blocking access to it.

Another day, another line of cars in the bike lane. They are blocking the curb cut needed to get to the segregated path.

The other arm is swollen and itchy which might actually be worse.
This letter really brightened my day! #KinderWorldGame @LumiInteractive https://download.playkinderworld.com/HVBd/postie
