If you wanna get into a superhero comic, I would really recommend Marvel's Champions. It's about teen superheroes who get tired of the old ways and start their own team. Instead of punching crime in the face, they try to solve problems much bigger than supervillains. It faces hard subjects (racism, police brutality, capitalist takeover of political movements) realistically, but with the optimism that makes comics great. Not perfect of course, but definitely worth a read in my book.
