Was looking for something unrelated and stumbled over this article I wrote years ago about Pittsburgh that touches on now-gone places and people.
OK, newspaper, but hear me out: What if the record number of office vacancies is not in fact "throwing the market out of whack" but is rather bringing the market back into line with the reality that requiring most modern office work to be done in office buildings is, for the most part, incredibly dumb and inefficient.
