As I have more hobbies and interests than available time, I will simply have to live longer.

A though provoking piece in the NY Times May 15, 2026, by Bruce Feiler:
"This Is the Antidote to a Lonely Life of Screens"
He considers the value of ritual as an antidote to the obsession with screens (as I write this on a screen). Even rituals that are self created to celebrate life's triumphs and to share life's trials.
One must suffer bad luck, but one is allowed to enjoy the good luck as well.

My first Mets game of the season, yesterday May 14 vs. Detroit, as the weather is finally warming up. And, so are our Mets! They swept the 3 day series with a win yesterday 9-4.
We shall see how they fare against the Yankees in this weekend's subway series.
It's so nice to be back out at the ballpark again, and my fellow fans are thrilled at the wins. #baseball #mets
