I am thinking about all the non-DEI hires who will get jobs cause they know the guy who used to have to hire qualified people he didn’t know. I am so relieved he is free to hire his bros to bag my groceries, clean my hotel rooms and field harvest the food on my family’s table.

Yesterday I logged off of Instagram and Threads and joined Mastodon. I have been inactive on X for some time now but did go on the site recently and commented on a post from someone who was not an idiot but just so blinded by their inaccurate perception about what is happening here. Those are the kind of people who I feel have the capacity to figure it out and shift. But they have to see and experience suffering first. Maybe that has to happen for change to follow. Magas may never get it.
