Fascism is not new.

It did not just arrive

It’s just effecting you now

You’ve been insulated

You’ve been the problem

Fascism didn’t just arrive out of nowhere

Fascism has been here for centuries

Fascist sensibilities have had time to grow, and turn into countless versions of political brutality

Fascism has engrained itself into our cultural behaviors, and has infected all of our movement actions

The sooner we clearly identify the ways decentralized violence has continued with impunity, the sooner we can meet this violence in MILITANT ways

We don’t need any formal organization

We don’t need a vanguard

We just need to materially resource those who are being targeted, and we need to build up self defense that is accountable to those experiencing compounded violence

Tell the cishet men to sit the fuck down, for once

Tell the white ppl to “shut up”, and “you can’t study us”… for once

Access to resources is becoming more limited- so gather up the resources, and offer up subversive, autonomous networks to those being targeted

Address divisions clearly and often, and recognize that whoever is experiencing the most disinvestment and violence in the room, is the person that needs to be prioritized

Please consider supporting a Korean & Indian family with ongoing community care so they don’t have to return to an unsafe, abusive living situation with a homophobic, transphobic, ableist, etc. person!

Devi is a queer agender Malayalee who is multiply disabled and chronically ill - they are a Mad, AuDHD, Crip. They are mostly house- and bedbound, receiving care and support from a home health aide, and presently working with their treatment team to get a power wheelchair.

In addition to Devi’s own disability, their children and nesting person are disabled, and their eldest is trans and transitioning.

We can never be ready enough.

Prioritize community care.

Build up supports.

Learn subversion.

Be intentional, and don’t allow them to provoke you beyond your capacity.

Move together, address divisions, and be accountable to those who are being targeted.

Carry the seeds with you, and plant them wherever you end up.

Pick up the trash, and repurpose what you can.

When you gather resource, always plan to offer to others what you can.

Remember that neglect is a result of grief, and community can always reconcile.
