@GerardFS coming home from England as a child in the car got excited as we reached Richmonds and then doubly excited as we reached that fork in the road and turned right ! Slid like mad down there in the winter of 81/82 when we were stuck in Cavan because of the snow yippee 👏 and couldn’t get back to London .

@ScottishGENES we were informed we could re register our children’s births once we remarried but never bothered. Now they are all in their thirties maybe we should just for the fun it may give future genealogists 😁

@bon walking up that hill then just turning back to look at the town is my favourite thing to do when I’m home ! Hope to get back there shortly. That hill tells so many ancestors stories if only I knew half of those stories 😁
