The plan is to go Gothenburg-Copenhagen-Hamburg today, then my favorite sleeper train, Nightjet from Hamburg to Zürich. Tomorrow Zürich-Milan through beautiful alps! Spoiler, I’ve done most of this trip before. I have a good 4h margin in Hamburg, since I mustn’t miss the night train. (2/n)
Start of adventure. I’ve mostly stopped flying privately, instead exploring Europe by train. This trip is Gothenburg-Milan to give a talk. Many thanks to University of Milano for allowing me to use this slightly more expensive option, with negligible CO₂ footprint! (1/n)

@bertozzi Dear Carolyn, I saw that you will visit Gothenburg in June. Is there any chance to see you at AstraZeneca during this visit?
Going north-east for the day on this copycat train 🤣
Fun to revive some of my old interests together with a great team at AstraZeneca, polymer and physical organic chemistry combined with modelling
https://doi.org/10.1039/D3PY01391JI’m fascinated by the possibilities of Ni chemistry, and so happy to see this work from the Martin group out, with contributions from the Hopmann group and me.

#HotelBreakfast #StuffedWhen can calculations be accurate enough to actually correct experiments? We look at this for the area of predictive asymmetric synthesis. Spoiler: it can be done 😊.
