@lehtimaeki i bet it's for analytics, right? the only time i did it myself, it was an analytics requirement to log what app was used to share particular content
@ivanmorgillo i bet you are not talking about "have a break, have a kitkat". i hope this holiday season you will have some more free time man! 🤗
"All in all, even though this bug started out as a not-too-great experience for me, the hacker, after I started “screaming” loudly enough, they noticed, and really wanted correct what went wrong. Hopefully they treated the original reporter(s) fairly as well. In the end, I think Google did pretty well, although the fix timelime still felt long for me."
@spaghetticode good read, thank you! also, a real art takes time ;-)
@marcin kids at home are the same kind of "distraction" as co-workers at the office who constantly come to your desk to ask questions. one i hated the most -- "do you go for a lunch?" asked every day by the same early lunch folks ;-)
@lehtimaeki @pixelfed check

@adrian rules is one thing, another is sheer cost of hosting then mastodon instance. time will tell, i guess.
@adrian i should phrase it better -- should be "not accepted" instead of "rejected". as for donating, it's optional but also "If donating leave message in patreon and we will add you right away". my point was, don't limit yourself to Local and i should definitely phrase my toot better
@adrian full disclosure: got rejected from joining androiddev.social -- that being said, don't get blinded that you got accepted and local instance feed is all that there's. weirdly enough, feels like the way to join is to pay for AndroidDevSocialBlue program

Big thank you to @greg_fawson and rest of Droidcon folks for the second corporate donation. Enjoy the 50 invites and thank you for supporting the Android community
Mastodon@brynet good old times! i've attended only one hackathon in Venice eons ago. so much fun though. happy coding folks!
