@ciaranmak Prices were different though, something closer for 14 EUR/mo for Facebook and 10 EUR/mo for Instagram.
@ciaranmak I had that appear on my mostly abandoned Meta accounts a couple years ago. I proceeded to request the download of all my data in an almost 9GB file, and deleted all Meta accounts in a few weeks. Never really replied to that modal/request.

@csolisr On Mastodon, instance admins have a say on blocking other whole instances. That's a big reason I'm on Mastodon TBH. I chose a good instance, with good moderation, and I just roll with it. Ultimately, I can host my own. That's federation in a nutshell.

Why not make more use of Mastodon and Fediverse for #EU official accounts?
I am tired to see EU officials communications from platforms with an agenda that has conflicts with EU values.
I mean you have @EUCommission and its instance just right there.

@paulasimoes @philly_phlip I had some (Swiss) clients that used Infomaniak services. They seemed decent, could be an interesting EU alternative.
As for AI, apart from currently assembling my own private service with Open WebUI and (EU based and renewable powered) serverless inference, I've been also trialing Le Chat from Mistral AI.
