Videogame designer working primarily on the mobile space. Would love to work with tabletop someday...! 🏳‍🌈 🏳️‍⚧️ #BLM Be kind! ♥
@grayson @ofdiceandmen that’s right! I have the Ukrainian version, couldn’t help myself when I heard the original concept. So much fun! Pity it takes a little long to setup and play.
Happy to have undergone the Twilight Imperium experience for a second time. It was super fun — and long! Took us 12 hours (!) including meal breaks. But a complete hoot. Somehow I tied for second at 8 points, but I’m sure I would have lost one in the next round. Go Sardak N’orr!
@StuffByBez not anymore. I’m in the US now. Lived in London for about 7 years, then we moved here to Connecticut.

I have three things in the @itchio Halloween sale!

They are bundled for just $1.75!

(The pico-8 games are free themselves, but the extras you can get for them are discounted!)

@StuffByBez hope you feel better soon! Your posts are cool. I look forward to trying one of your games someday. I love deckbuilding, I think you have a design in the area?

@StuffByBez that’s very cool, congrats! I tend to shy from auction games that aren’t heavily limited in bidding — I like Ra and For Sale — because the no limit thing tends to make it a bad experience for me.

(Just my taste, of course, I admire people who can engage safely in no limit bidding.)

@semicoop ooooh maybe like a game that starts with all these genres and mechanics and depending on what people engage with the most (politics? Tech tree? Deckbuilding? Hidden role?) the game doubles down on those and prunes the others. Like Warning Forever, the awesome boss shmup from a couple decades ago.
@StuffByBez I recently flew to California (from the east coast) to meet my team again. It was great fun! But I always get a bit anxious about leaving the family and the whole flight process like you describe. Having TSA Pre helps a lot.
@ironmaus Interesting approach! I guess I think of them as “the Zelda open world games”
@semicoop Tiny Towns last, Aleph Null next.
