For me, the Web Almanac has the same vibe as getting a new sticker album with tons of packets of stickers: long hours of attentive reading and an overall enjoyable time
(please make it with stickers next year!)

I really enjoyed reading this piece by Eric Bailey.
Reminds me of the early days of backpack traveling in Greece when after a terrifiying ride on the bed of a pickup we got to a bus stop in front of a small taberna. We were nowhere, and despite being summer, it was a bit cold. The bus came, but we were still dining and had backpacks to load, so we signaled the driver to wait with a hand gesture that was wildly misinterpreted: he slammed the door and left us there.
I just had to get in, and wait for a ride from point A to point B. It was like being a man!!! Not a care in the world!!! Personal safety who???ā [2/2]
Thank you @cassidoo for pointing it out
The thing that struck me the most
āThe thing that struck me even harder was the fact that I didnāt have to worry about the driver in the front seat. I didnāt have to keep a pulse on the doors locking in case the driver was a creep, I didnāt have to make any uncomfortable conversation, I didnāt have to have a family member follow my ride juuuust in case.
